THE SURROUNDINGS

On walking distance you will find the beautiful white sandy beach of Bergen aan Zee. The sea, the sun, the wind and the sky facinate us every time again. Each season has its own charm. There are nice little restaurants, beach clubs, mini golf and tennis-courts in the village and along the beach promenade.

Of course you must visit to the sea aquarium of Bergen aan Zee. You certainly won't feel bored! 

In  the surroundings you will find the colourful flower fields in spring time. They invite you to make beautiful cycling tours.

Bergen is famous for its artists. Many amateurs of architecture, art and music visit Bergen because of its animated ambience.

It is also possible to participate to art demonstrations and art markets and to visit museums.

The town of Alkmaar is certainly worth a visit.

Alkmaar is famous for its traditional cheese market., that is held every Friday morning from April till September.

Of course there are also many shops, boutiques, restaurants and musea.
